World Supers at PI
I notice the schedule appears to have changed so that Superbike Race 1 has been brought forward from Sunday to Saturday afternoon. That might kill part of the attraction of going just for the Sunday.

Greenmeanie, have you followed thru with the factory recall for the dud regulator/rectifier? You may be starting to show symptoms.

Re: buying overseas GP tickets
I went to Laguna Seca in 2010. Bought the tickets from the LS website and picked the tickets ups from a local collection centre (hotel).......this is called "Will Call". No problems with any of it. Tickets way cheaper than here. You'll enjoy the LS MotoGP.

Re: 2010 ZX10r Questions ??
Broomie, I also have a 2010 10R and am 6'4". I bought a pair of Vortex rear-sets (ex USA), flipped them left to right & upside down and hey presto the pegs are 30mm lower and it makes a huge difference. Also fitted some Helibars. Much more comfortable now.

Winter gloves without the weight
Appreciate some advice about a good pair of winter gloves - that aren't too heavy & bulky, if there is such a thing. I've had (& sold) gloves that were reaonably warm but didn't like them because their bulk affected steering feel. Don't want to get heated grips because won't use it for 50 weeks of ...

Re: Riders Choice my arse!
Perhaps try "Famous Insurance". They used to be called something else until taken over.......can't remember what. Two weeks ago I got a quote for my new ZX10R from Swann (via the bike shop).......$675. Famous price was $450 so I went with them. I had my ZX12R insured with them for a few years, also ...

ZX10R Footpegs
I intend to soon to trade in my 06ZX12 on a new 10R. Question I have is will I be able to lower the footpegs a touch? (Hey don't laugh - I'm 191cm/100kg and need some more comfort!) I know I can buy a pair of rear-sets but I always thought they were designed & fitted to raise and set back the pegs ...

Leathers on e-bay
Anyone have any experience with leather pants on e-bay? New boxed & tagged Alpinestars race pants being offered for $200 to $400 (rrp $600). Too good to be true?

Airhawk question
Thinking of getting an Airhawk for my ZX12. Looked at their web site and they post 3 or 4 different sizes to suit various bike seats. What size, from folks' experience, is best suited to the 12? Thanks for any input.

Re: ZX12R Kaput
I have earth continuity, measured from battery earth terminal to chassis. Battery volts have dropped to 10V. I suspect Mr Gosling is right.......the battery (purchased 6 months ago) is rooted. Thanks.

ZX12R Kaput
Went to start my 2006 ZX12R yesterday morning when the whole lot gave up the ghost in the driveway. Nothing. No lights, no immobiliser light flashing. Nothing. I checked the battery (13V on the meter), checked the battery terminals & connections, checked all the fuses including the main 30A fuse ...

Falls Creek Road
Mate of mine (non-biker) lives in Mt Beauty and says the Mt Beauty - Falls Creek - Omeo road is now sealed. Anyone ridden it? Thinking of doing it next month as an alternative to the Mt Beauty-Harrietville-Mt Hotham-Omeo route, a great road but one we've done may times. How do they compare? Thanks ...

crash knobs for 10/04 ZX10R
Champions, just bought a damn good zx10r 2004 model. Unregistered and for track purposes only. Took it out first time last Monday at QR and am very happy with it. Question is what kind of crash knobs or crash bars do folks recommend? Do these bolt straight into existing threads? Would appreciate ...
