ZX10 (04/05) triple clamp steering nut torque
Hi. I am fitting a steering damper to my '04 ZX10R trackie. What is the tightening torque on the steering head nut? Advice much appreciated.

It's only alloy. Make sure you have a decent spanner, or it will burr the edges

78Nm (Just fit a damper myself). You'll need a 36mm socket.

Do it up till it strips, then back it off half a turn.
