Re: Suspension for Z1000
The suspension was my biggest gripe with my 08 zed, I found that playing with the setteings and a different set of tyres inspired more confidence however at the end of the day its bargain basement gear so the zed stays as my commuter ad I bought a second bike with better supension.

Re: Help Request for Z750
I actually thought that when I fitted lower bars to my z1k the "beaten in the chest" feeling you get at 100+ kmh went away, I do 120kms a day most of it highway speed.
I am yet to see a decent screen for this shape zed (or really any naked for that fact)

Re: Trouble choosing a Jacket.
If you are commuting you should still consider 2 jackets, I have 4 and could still go a second leather one I reckon
I commute 110-140 km per day in all weather and being prepared and setup so you dont carry a heap of crap around all the time is great.
My gear kit includes:
Jackets X 4

Re: Cranky at my visor!!!!
It depends how much you clean it, I got about 4 months on my first because I religiously cleaned both sides, my second did 12 months with only cleaning the outer side (and the inner on a rare occasion)

Re: Rough idle with M4 slip-on exhaust
My zook went from purring to sounding like a ported Rotary at idle after putting on an M4 (Replaced both pipes and the cat/muffler box)however there was no real change to idle rpm or power delivery, its just because its louder, straight through and hardly muffled now.

Re: Reps to Peter Stevens Service Centre
I cant comment on the City guys but Ringwood (Service & tyre centre) have been great, the guy who works in the tyre section is friendly and gives me a discount because I keep going back to him. I've had 24,000 kms in service on my zed through them in the last year as well as 2 rear pilots and a ...
