Help Request for Z750

Post by cateall »

Last month sold the ZX-6R and bought a Z7-fiddy (2007). Now forgive me if I'm committing a sin here but I spend alot of time riding on the F3 and intend to take this bike to ride days so was wondering if anyone has any experience with installing windscreens on these bikes because right now I'd rather be concentrating on my technique at these speeds than just trying to hang on.

Thanks,
Cate

I actually thought that when I fitted lower bars to my z1k the "beaten in the chest" feeling you get at 100+ kmh went away, I do 120kms a day most of it highway speed.

I am yet to see a decent screen for this shape zed (or really any naked for that fact)

Cate the older zeds had aftermarket screens available that were taller but honestly they do sweet FA in reality, I found it a bit of a pain on my zeddy but accepted it, its a naked bike & thats one of the characteristics that you cant hide ;)

Hi Cate at last years Sydney motorcycle show I got a screen from frozzie.com.au.
Cost $90 works brilliant! When I get a chance to send a picture of bike with screen. I travel 45km's each way each day! Send me a personal message so I can attach a couple pics. Cheers Mark

I fitted a double bubble screen on my ZX7R, which I know is a different bike, however it moved the air flow from hitting me in the chest to hitting me in the helmet. The most annoying thing was that it directed cold air underneath the edge of the helmet and made my face frozen.

I dunno about your bike but it might pay to keep this in mind and get a trial version first.
I live with fear everyday but on weekends she lets me ride.

I've just started ridding upwards of 250km per day on my Z750.

I put an Ermax screen on & am quite happy with the results.
I have Renthal Fatbars on as well.
I get a bit of a wobble at anything over 100km/hr though.
