I found a neat engine crash protection bar, which is actually a genuine Kwaka part along with pannier frames which hold Givi style panniers, very slick on th eKawasaki dealer's site in East Anglia in England. Yep, you guessed it, Kawa Aust don't import them :(
This guy from melbourne has a good ...

Re: New ZRX 1200 is on the way, ZRX1200D
Maybe it is no longer dry weight they are quoting. It may be the result of a standards thing.
I reckon the weight they quote should be oiled up, but not gassed up or with a standard amount of fuel, say 10 or 15litres. That would give you a better idea. I'll expound further when I do not have so ...

Re: New ZRX 1200 is on the way, ZRX1200D
That Black sucker looks pretty good, but where did the extra weight come from? I bought a new one in mid December. The local dealer tried to order one as soon as delivery of the one I ended up buying was confirmed (he has been doing that since he has been in business, always has one one the way or ...

Re: Anyone been following the AMCN ZRX1200?
What I am wondering is the mod that they did on the long term test bike, just a change of jets or some other mod to the carbies?

Re: Anyone been following the AMCN ZRX1200?
That sounds liek a good way to go, buttttttttttttttttt, it is a lot of money either way, I'm not rushing into it. I'll run it in over the next month or so and decide then.
I forgot, still haven't heard about the carbie mods.

Re: Anyone been following the AMCN ZRX1200?
What does the carby /jet kit consist of? Is it just an assortment of jets to fine tube the carby or is it a carbie upgrade or something. My dyno guy prefers to use the genuine kawasaki jets which are available in a kit from Mick Maladin apparently. He says their quality is more consistent that the ...

Re: Handling problem?
yeah, I'm a dickhead, put 36psi in both as recomended (no load, apart from my huge frame). Worked like a dream. I knew that was probably the answer, but sit in front of the puter and drink enough cheap plonk and anything sounds reasonable. Went for a ride to Yetholme on it tonight, went like a dream ...

Re: Handling problem?
Yeah thats what I thought, but rather then get my finger out and go down the road and fix it I am sitting here surfing the net. Thanks, Mick.
Been out of riding for 20 odd years, bit rusty, got the riding part ok (careful, but ok), the rest of it filters back slowly.

Handling problem?
I haven't ridden the ZRX1200R for a couple of months, blew the rear brake line, ran out of rego, busy, etc, but took it for a good ride yesterday afternoon.
The problem is at slow speeds it wants to turn in and you really have to put a lot of opposing force on the bars. The problem is not such a ...

I checked out the link, the model they show as the only one they have doesn't look much like the on you have fitted. I generally do enough miles to keep the bikes charged up, but this would be handy as an immobiliser. Also, the ZRX1200R is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to heavy for ...

I'm picking up bad vibrations!
My ZRX1200R's handle bars vibrate and as I have lost a finger on my right hand and I have what feels like an exposed nerve (like having three funny bones) and this causes my fingers to go numb, it is obviously not bad vibration as my left hand is fine.
I did a search without success. Any ideas? I ...
