But that aside - I'd say look at a pre-2003 ZX6 too. They're a much more laid-back styling than the current race-reps, probably similar to the F4i.

Good to be back :)

Well after 18 months of being bike-less I have finally managed to get back on two wheels. Just picked up another 6R, this time a blue 05 636. She's very tidy and has been well looked after. Came with the following goodies: Akrapovic slip on, Hyper pro steering damper, PCIII with a custom map, Valter ...

re: good/bad moments on the road

well I'll lighten the mood with a good story. Was riding home, following a lancer, and the chick driving starts waving out the window and looking at me in her rear view mirror. I thought she had mistaken me for someone she knew, hell, maybe she had. Anyway we pull up at the lights and she sticks her ...

It seems to piss down everytime i wash my ...

re: QLD Dealerships n Bikeshops

I have bought from Robbie at Midtown and overall i was pretty happy with the way things went. The blue ZX6R had just been traded in that day and he even showed me the paperwork of the trade and he was only making $400 by selling it to me, which was fine by me. It is a businessa after all and they ...

re: Hand polished my wheels, with pic.

Anyone done this with paint stripper instead of the wet&dry? Would probably need some tidying up with the finer grades and fine steel wool but it would cut the workload down a bit.

Re: re: Suspended!

Real stupid/pointless.

I got done for speeding last November on my CBR250R (108 in an 80). Being on my P's, thats a 4 point offence and wiped me clean in one foul swoop. Not wanting, well thinking i wouldn't be able to bare not riding for 3 months, I elected for a good driving behaviour period (2 ...
