Agreed... X-lite helmets are awesome...
also my new lid (x-lite..made by nolan) is choice..wind noise is minimal,
its comfy, not too heavy, and the visors have anti fog inserts from the
factory- dont have to do it urself...also water seems to bead & run str8 off
the visor better than ne lid ive had...they retail abt $850, i got mine for
$600..bargain i say..

I used to hate the rain but I'm okay with it now. Getting good (fluro) rain gear and spending days riding in the rain through Sydney traffic on my 250 has taught me to be a better rider. After a few wobblies (no falls 
) I now go easy on the breaks in the rain, leave extra room. and never split lanes.
Riding yesterday from Inner West to Penrith in the rain on my ZZR600 was interesting. I felt the front slide (slightly) around roundabouts and at one stage took of too quick and spun the rear shifting to 2nd

got no probs in the wet, just prefer the dry... and BOY what a day today turned out to be!!! FANTASTIC! Kaz (my better 1/2) and I went up Ngungun Mt. (hiking)... awesome up there (one of the D'Agliers range) (sp) near Tibrogigragargan (sp!)

I quite enjoy the rain, actually. Yeah, it's a little slipperier, but no big deal. I won't go playing in it, though.
My only annoyance at the moment is that my gloves are leaking! They're only a coupla years old. Anybody know of any truly waterproof summer gloves?

Made the mistake of riding home from the coast at night with a tinted visor...mmmm rain at 110km/h is very invigorating on ur face. Couldnt see shit with the visor down and i usually carry a pair of clear lenses so i can ride at night with the visor up.
It seems to piss down everytime i wash my bike so I didnt wash it today cause I'm heading up to Montville tomorrow, so those clouds better fark off by the morning or I'll be really pissed. Been looking forward to a decent ride since last weekend's shitty weather.
Don't mind riding in the rain, I just slow down and keep my distance in check. Gotta love the white arrows coming into a roundabout hehe

i got a set of 10 with my lid....it has the race visor..but u get a pack of
10 for $30....i save a few $$ cos i get em thru bills, but still $3 isnt
that bad for convenience...

then clean visor, allow to dry & put new tear off on...
that way u get 2 clean visors for the cost off one tear off
