Now you can start to open her up
My ZZR1100 has just over 100K and still runs fine I would have been adding another 1000 on it this weekend. I am going to use the FJR instead

Re: New tyre question?

I rub over the tyre with prepsol then a light rub with sand paper . Then go for a ride on a grave road and ride in the soft stuff. this no recommended if you are not used to grave roads

Re: GPZ BIG BANG ENGINE

This motor probably was never meant to idle . Being a two pot firring set up and running ? cams it would be like any hot motor only idles, at higher than normal rpm. If at all. If you have ever seen the old speedway slider bikes they don't idle just go like hell.

Re: oil change problem

Still no luck . remove the oil sender switch and fit a pressure gauge. this will at least tell you if the motor has oil pressure if it has then the problem may well be the sender.

Re: oil change problem

You never fit a dry oil filter. Remove the filter fill it with oil, stand it upright let the oil settle and refill. the fit it to the motor . start the motor and let it idle until the light goes out.
