Re: ZX7-9 BRG Conversion Kit
kawasaki in brighton sell the kit for around 2.5k from memory
Wow, I'm guessing that you mean $250 not $2,500. I can get it from the states for $450 us and $35 for delivery. I'll give Brighton Kawasaki a call on Monday to ask if they have the kit. I've managed to source a newly rebuilt 950 engine ...

Re: ZRX Oil filter
Never had to remove the headers but always have to pull apart the exhaust to get at the oil filter. Are these adapters available in Aussie and if so, where can I get one. I've got a ZRX1100 with a full Akrapovic system and it just makes it a bit harder to do a service when you have to pull apart the ...

Re: Close calls!
I can take a mirror off and be gone and out of sight in 2.5 seconds flat, it's a little different, what we are talking about..
I know of 2 other guys who thought the same thing. It just depends on how determined the other person is. Both of these people were 'chased' at a distance for ...

Re: I need a new helmet - which one??
Go to this site and you will be surprised at the star ratings for some of the more expensive helmets and also some of the so called inexpensive ones. Our helmets only have to meet a basic standard whereas this British test is a star rating system and gives you a better idea of whether you are really ...

Re: How far have you gone to buy a bike
Not as good as to Perth but in 2002 I flew to Melbourne from the Gold Coast early one Wednesday morning, picked up a virtually new ZRX1100 (2150kms on the clock) from a guy, had the oil and filter changed at the local Kawasaki stealership, was on the road by 1000. Got to Sydney (Hornsby) Wed night ...

Re: Standard Rear Shocks for ZRX
You're right Rusty. RAD did a great job and it only cost $170 for both to be rebuilt and regassed. The shocks look like new again even with nice new bump stops. They took a couple of weeks but it was well worth the wait. It feels like a new bike again (nearly).

Re: Standard Rear Shocks for ZRX
I phoned a mob called RAD who do rechroming and rebuilding of forks/shocks up here in Qld and they reckon that even if its a worst case scenario the rebuild of both shocks would be $240 so it wasn't as bad as I thought. They say that they can rebuild any shock which is made even if its a sealed unit ...

Standard Rear Shocks for ZRX
G'day. Has anyone got the original rear shocks for their ZRX available to sell. Mine have finally given up the ghost and I would like to replace with an upgraded set but just don't have the spare cash at the moment. I'm assuming that a set of better shocks with the same adjustability would set me ...

Re: '03 to '06 Z1000 suspension
I've had a quote from Suspension Improvements for a job on a ZRX1100. It was just about more than the bike was worth. I'd get a 2nd opinion on any quotes from them. I also have a mate who got a rear shock done for a Ducati 916 from the same mob and he's had nothing but probs with it. Got a standard ...

Re: Logistics - Gold Coast to Sydney
Ya might wanna PM Hoffy's mate S&W. He's the in-house KSRC interstate courier as I understand it!!!
Yes, but I think its only around Melbourne or out of Melbourne. Not out of the Gold Coast to Sydney. Unless, of course, he has decided to branch out and include interstate as well. It might ...
