You're right Rusty. RAD did a great job and it only cost $170 for both to be rebuilt and regassed. The shocks look like new again even with nice new bump stops. They took a couple of weeks but it was well worth the wait. It feels like a new bike again (nearly).

I phoned a mob called RAD who do rechroming and rebuilding of forks/shocks up here in Qld and they reckon that even if its a worst case scenario the rebuild of both shocks would be $240 so it wasn't as bad as I thought.
