Re: Goose of the weeks

If my memory serves me correctly, there's quite a long straight out near Buxton. I think it links the highway to Lake Mountain. Now that was god fun on a 1998 ZX7!

Re: Insurance

Insure My Ride. I found them the cheapest by a long way. $79 a quarter for full comprehensive insurance including $1000 worth of riding gear.

The camera was flat today when I went out. Doing a track day at Symmons Plains on April 27 so I'll try it then.

Re: Speedo calibration

Not sure if you know already but I have seen for sale what are called speedo healers for various model bikes that have changed the final drive gearing. I was going to get one for my 05 zx10 before I sold it. I've seen them on eBay. Not very expensive and I believe they work well. Just a thought ...

Speedo calibration

Just looking to better understand the variance of changing the front sprocket on my bike. I've just come back from a ride and a mate asked me why I wasn't doing the speed limit. The front sprocket is -1 so can you tell me what impact this will have on the accuracy of my speedo.

Cheers.

GoPro

For those have a GoPro mounted to their helmet, I'm interested in where you have them secured. Not sure whether I put mine behind the visor hinge or underneath it.Image

Loose wire. All fixed. Now I just need to work out where to mount the GoPro.
