I don't understand it...........surely her exact location was in the car, sitting in the drivers seat ??

I bet her watchdogs are called Timex and Rolex.

But that's not the GPS's fault is it, just the person who couldn't use it properly.

1. go to http://maps.google.com.au/

2. Click on Get Directions .

3. Put "Atlanta " to "Paris,France " in the map search

4. Scroll down in the directions to Number 22.

Do you think she'd have a go?
yea..it was on another post here a few days ago..hence my questioning if we can get her to drive to USA...

Theres a few issues with gps and one of them is geoditic code ....the maps regularly have different datums and you have to load the right one so it is accurate to within 5 meters or whatever if you have the wrong datum you can easy be out 50 or 100 meters.

I havent played with the new ones for cars only old ones for boats like back around 1990 when the thing would be tracking a nice little course then jump out to the side 500meters then back a minute or 2 later.

have to use a bit of common sense where electronics are involved.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Police Rescue Costs - $2.500.00

Having your mates bag you about this for the rest of your life = Priceless
