Thanks anyway, but I'll wait until Monday.
I do appreciate your offer!

Dunno it is a stupid question actrually Neka as when you think about it the sprocket does indeed rotate the way it would be undone if a RH thread but just done mine 2 weeks ago and it was a RH thread...Neka79 wrote:the front sprocket on ur bike isnt irish thread is it?? ...i seem to recall the sprocket turns in a conventional manner and sum nuts might be irish??
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

FINALLY got the c*%^ of a thing off!
Had one of my work's mobile mechanics bring his van around and help me remove it.
I had soaked it 5 times in WD40 in an attempt to penetrate the bond.
He had a big air compressor (with an engine attached to it) and a 600 ft.lb rattle gun.
Beleive it or not, the 600 ft.lb gun couldn't crack it! By this stage I was not a happy camper.
In a last attemp, he got the cold chisel and a hammer and gave it a few big hits. Got the rattle gun again and hey presto!
I'll go for a ride tonight, when the weather's cooled down and let you know how it goes, down-geared!
