Re: D.I.Y Exhaust mods???

i did on the bur of the muffler cut to slip the end cap on, i obviously don't care what it looks like, just a quick spray of black in the end to reduce yellow sticker visability (hopefully) :)

Re: D.I.Y Exhaust mods???

got bored today so took to the stock muffler with grinder and hacksaw. added end cap and sounds ok with better low-mid than yoshi rs3.

Re: quick tyre question...

had rs fitted last saturday, scraped the fairing and peg/sidestand after having to tip in hard to avoid going wide on a 180 degree onramp.
tip in seems slow to start but once started seems planted and steady

i think 5th has a leaner fuel map also so lower gears will now run slightly hotter around town but crisper response also.
use engine ice coolant if it is a problem and maybe wire switch to use thermo fan at stop/slow speeds.

ordered some today.
after couple of emails they told me to choose pickup as delivery option.
after order is completed they add US$20 and use airmail canada.
i just need to claim any damages with the carrier as no insurance included but saves US$70 on the normal delivery rate. they said this is ok ...

brakes

i think would be too much hassle to fit zx12 calipers, however i have heard good reports on radial mastercylinder/levers . brembo make some i think.
the zx6 oem may already be ?, i know the calipers are now.
