Neutral where are you???
Hi all!!
I just started riding again after BikeBiz took a million years fixing up my bike and after some car park riding I decided to hit the road. Whilst at the lights Ive had some issues with finding neutral when my bike is running i click up from 1st gear and my light doesn't come on; but if i turn the engine off and repeat the same process i can find neutral and the green light comes on. Is there a technique with finding neutral? cause its killing my left hand holding the clutch in the
whole time when i'm at the light (not confident enough to lane splitting).
Cheers
Kev

try to click into neutral while wheels are still rolling, might make it happen easier

I had the same issue with both of my kawasakis- I found that I had to be in first by the time I pulled up. If I sat at the lights in neutral it took me 10 seconds of mucking around to try and get them into first sometimes- dangerous and frustrating.

Never had issues with neutral issues with kawasakis, even though might not be as good quality/precision as a couple other makes.Holding the clutch lever waiting for a green light will only burn your clutch
while trying to find the neutral just move the bike forward a few cms and it might work.

I tend to find neutral too easily, generally at the worst possible times. Can lead to some embarrassing moments

Re: Neutral where are you???
I think there's something wrong with my bike, or the neutral light. I will change up a gear from 1st (no green light) and then release the clutch, the bike will stall so i start the bike again and the green light comes on. This only happens sometimes, i'm so confused
