Re: Some say it was bound to happen...

Sounds much like mine at turn 3 at Morgan Park except I was going about 100kmh less and I have no memory of it. I broke the two outside toes on my right foot.

I agree with Ty. I haven't posted up much since I sold the 9  and moved to the outback, but I log on to check out whats going on and keep updated with who's doing what to who :D

The good thing is that I can post up a question (or whatever) and get a good response. I've just to get myself ...

Re: Qld......did you offend someone?

I arrived in Richmond (500km west of Townsville) 3 weeks ago and thankfully missed all the floods in Qld but they are predicting that it will still be classed as a cyclone when it gets here tomorrow night  .

The govt has closed all the schools north of Mackay (even here in Richmond) and a ...

Re: Queenslanders, are you ok? palese say Hi.

Good to hear everyone is ok. The Rockhampton floods caused some dramas with my move to Richmond (halfway between Townsville and Mt Isa) but got here eventually. I think it must the only area in Qld that hasn't had lots of rain and/or is flooding.

Mum and Dad are just north of Toowoomba but had no ...

Re: Sold the business, now looking for a job & selling the 9

I've got a job, we're off to Richmond (halfway between Townville and Mt Isa), but they offered an outstanding package. I'll be looking after the banking banking centre there and managing farming (cattle) clients with loans over $5million.

Apparantly there's a pretty active motocross club in ...

Sold the business, now looking for a job & selling the 9

I haven't been very active on here for a few months so I thought I'd let you all know what's going on

After months of thinking I decided to try and get rid of the store or just close it if I couldn't find someoneto take it over. Given the figures I was never going to sell it, so my best hope was to ...

Re: Carbon/Kevlar fairing.

I'd be interested in seeing how you actually go about making the moulds, laying up the carbon, vacuum bagging etc as I have some knowledge of the processes but it's always different in practice, although my engine covers did turn out ok for a first timer. I'm thinking of also making some carbon race ...

Re: Leather seat conditioner

I would go to one of the horse accessories places (such as Horseland) and get something that they use on saddles, I've use both RM Williams and Dubbin on my boots and leathers

Factory pro make some for about $US350 for a set

I made up some carbon ones myself as have some others on here, wasn't that difficult and didn't turn out too bad

Re: Purchasing chain and sprockets, best deal???

Ebay USA is a good option at the moment with the high $A. I recently bought this 520 conversion kit, postage was $55 and and additional rear sprocket was $55

When to change swingarm chain guard

I'm in the process of changing my chain and sprockets and was wondering at what stage to replace the plastic swingarm chain guide/guard.

From the pictures it seems the top is ok but the bottom is quite worn/grooved.
