Be a bloody good business to have being able to make replica/replacement tanks for all bikes! Every bike at some stage hits something & 99% of the time the tanks are damaged!
I'd wish I had some capital venture money & a contact in China that can punch out replica/replacement tanks to sell ...

Re: 2012 Orange Z1000

I've an 06 Z750 still pretty stock but have clicked up 70,000k on her and the colour is still glowing and it's a commuter, as well as getting me around to race tracks i marshal at like the Island ...

Re: What's your bike??? (details and small pic )
I've got a beat up 06 Orange Z750 ( by that i mean she's up to 70,000kms) that'd look awesome in your colour. I've replaced the the front headlight cowl with a temporary black one. Just trying to find the time to get the dings in the tank finally straightened out then either re-paint the original ...

So what become of the old pipe? Hope you were able to sell it on? I've an 06 Z750 hitting 70.000kms and need to upgrade the noise as wellas repair/replace the tank! I've never been much of a white Kwaka bike before but it just looks right on yours!

Re: overheating?
My 06 Z750 yesterday actually went to 119 degrees just idling. All the pipes seem fine but as mentioned before very hot to touch way before it gets to the 90 degrees. I've been getting it ready to be re-registered and it's sat idle a bit over 12 months. Was a good boy and removed the battery so that ...

Would it be in bad taste to mention the Kawasaki MotoGP effort? The colours from the bike wouldn't be half bad?

Re: Kawasaki WSBK 2012
If it puts the Green Machines closer to the front of the pack then i'm all for it so long as it doesn't go by way of the Kawasaki MotoGP effort. I feel sorry for PBM as they took the risk with a brand new machine and towards the end of the year you can see the improvements thanks to Aitcho and Sykes ...

What are the minimum req for a blue slip in NSW?
Hi guy's and gal's. I've left it way too late to get my pink slip and have been told i need to get a blue slip. As i'm fixing up my bike myself i'd like to be able to roll up and get it passed straight away! What i haven't been able to determine anywhere is just what are the minimum requirements to ...

Re: Z1000 FORKS
I've just been reading this thread and it's very interesting indeed. I've just recently bent the forks a tad on my 06 Z750 and have started today to try and find the simplest and cheapest fix for it. Gixxer front ends on Zed's? Did i read that correctly? And they're quite cheap? Definitely got my ...
