Re: My P's are approaching .... I have a question !
I did my Ps a about a month ago and each headcheck you miss you accumulate 3 points. So if you miss 3 headchecks that's 9 points which is a fail and the instructor is not allowed to point out what you've done wrong until the end when they say "The test is complete, pass/fail" etc. More accurately ...

Re: My P's are approaching .... I have a question !
Thx for all the ideas, looks like it is going to be best to rent a bike, save me lapsing on my L's if I fail the P's due to lack of turning circle !

Re: My P's are approaching .... I have a question !
I did the MOST Ps test on my GPX250. It was a piece of cake. I am not sure if it will be much harder on a ZX2R.
I am not sure if this is good advice, but ride the clutch. You can do all the low speed obstacles with ease if you play with the clutch.

Re: Busted and ......
Court fee is $70 so the only reason you would take it to court is to fight the points. If you have more then 3 points then maybe you should consider just paying the fine (however, if you choose to pay the fine, it is an admission of guilt).

The rider with the camera is a bloody dickhead riding well over their limit (I hope Neka is wrong about the other rider dying).

Re: Gear lever wobbles on my GPX250
I thought I would reply to the cause and solution of this problem.
The foot peg bracket on a GPX250 is screwed onto the body of the bike with 2 screws (the third screw only attaches the gear lever to foot peg bracket).
The 2 threads that the foot peg bracket screws into the body of the bike came ...

In the service manual, it says the idle should be 1300 rpm +/- 100 so it should be around 1200-1400. The idle adjust knob is on the left side of the bike around the top area i.e. http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/What_is_the_engine_idle_speed%3F_How_do_I_adjust_it%3F

"Dodgey" fan switch on my GPX250
My bike has a switch to manually turn on the fans which is electric taped to the handle bars (above key barrel). It isn't really a issue if I remember to switch it on when I go for a ride and off when I park. However, I have learned the hard way in both situations i.e. bike was overheating after ...

Gear lever wobbles on my GPX250
As the title suggest, my gear lever on my left foot wobbles left and right when I change gears. I can also easily move it left and right with my hand. Shift down gears, the lever will go into normal position but when I shift up gears the back of the lever will go in.
