It's on tomorrow giuys!

Some of you may remember on the 11th of May, 2007; I was involved in a motorbike accident. Suffering from broken bones and serious internal organ damage, my family were informed that I had a 1% chance of surviving the first 24 hours.

Had it not been for the resources made available for my care ...

The first one was when I was in ICU. I remember hearing everyone come past. The follwoing year one of the girls at Merlo heard about me and ask if I wanted to help. How could I say no....


This will be their thrid run. The first year they had abou t60 riders, last year there were a little over 100 ...

The ride is in Brisbane. It leaves from Merlo HQ in Bowen Hills and we go to Springwood in South Brisbane.

The Red Cross have opened their largest facility for us. The Red Corss don't usually open on Saturdays.

Like I said, if you can't give blood , please join us and show your support for those ...

There were and it was a great turnout. 150 or so riders and about that many were able to give also.

Hopefully next year we can get a few more to give and if not just ride in support!

Just remember, it's just a little prick...
