ZXR problem
Good morning folks, I have a ZXR750 L2. It was going fine, but has been parked up for about 12 months. Have had the tank and carbs cleaned out, new filters and new plugs. Starts OK and revs, when riding it cuts out after about 300 meters, starts up, same again, repeat, repeat. Any ideas from the ...

Re: Starter issues
I have this very same issue, with a "94 zxr750. I have so far purchased a new starter solenoid and a new right hand switch block, but so far haven't fitted them yet. Looking forward to responses on this. I live in the Cook Islands so I can't just run to the bike shop and get stuff, everything is 3 ...

Re: Working within Statutory Write-Off Rules??
Go and buy a rideable bike and pay some bloke what it's worth instead of trying to get something for next to nothing....

Re: Pimp My f'n Shag-Waaaah Baby !!!
I had a XJS V12 '80 model, bought it as a 12yo car, everybody said nothing but problems, only 2 things went wrong in 8 years. The turbo 400 auto shit it self and the power steering pump went out to lunch, both made by General Motors. Great car, smooth like silk, ended up giving it to my daughter ...

Re: ZXR 750 fairing decal
Thanks for that, I had the fairings repaired and painted in NZ. He painted the decal on, you can't distinguish it from the real thing, a bit spendy though.

A duck walks into a bar
A duck walks into a bar and says to the barman “I’ll have a pot of beer and a ham and cheese toasted sandwich”.
The barman is astonished, “You’re a duck and you can talk”
“Pretty clever for a barman, now how about that beer and sandwich, and give me a look at the newspaper”.

ZXR 750 fairing decal
Would anybody know where I could source a left hand fairing decal for a L2, the big pink one on the front side. The young bloke dropped it in gear while idling on the side stand, I can get it welded and painted in New Zealand, but they can't get the decal.

Fairings
I bought a ZXR750 L a few months ago, all the fairings have a thin layer of foam rubber attached to the inside, very thin, almost see through it. Is this normal, as I have never had this on any other bike I've owned.

V12 page 598 s/s game
On page 598 of the same same game there is a pic of a V12 Z2300 conversion, how is it that the cylinders on the near side of the photo are not offset to allow for the 2 con rods on the crank. Am I missing some thing here, or is it just a mock up.

Re: Regrets... Part of middle age I guess.
Had a genuine XW Phase 2 HO ex FOMO car, green with saddle trim, paid $4700 back in 1970 sold it for 9500 three years later. Thought, what a fool paying 9.5 for a 4yo Falcon.
Now I try not to think about it.
