ZXR problem

Post by Ashy »

Good morning folks, I have a ZXR750 L2. It was going fine, but has been parked up for about 12 months. Have had the tank and carbs cleaned out, new filters and new plugs. Starts OK and revs, when riding it cuts out after about 300 meters, starts up, same again, repeat, repeat. Any ideas from the brains trust.
Regards Ashy.

Possibly fuel related. Could be the fuel pump, the tap or lines.?

Heres a couple of posts from days gone by.

Try riding with fuel cap off (to rule out blocked vent)
