WTF ??? thats rare alright......paint it stock, keep it for 10 years, and sell it on e-bay for 10 grand.......they are pretty thin on the ground those old twins..... :?

ok, long time no post, and ive got terrible news!....

... im no longer a Kawasaki owner! :cry: :cry: :cry:

the little ninja died and was sold off for 300 dollars to the local guys at southwest motorcycle wreckers, whom while living at fallen_angels place weve bought many many bikes off...

just a warning, zzr's are comfy but theyre alot lower / flatter ive found than my GPX. But the GPX has an annoying habbit that the tank loves to dig into your crotch.

but im 6'2 and the GPX is fine on normal riding.

and update: ripped the keyswitch apart... cleaned up the contacts and made sure they were all tight, it does work, but whoops.. haha i put it in backwards by accident once >_> ... scared me.

i slipped into gravel, got lowsided, then highsided, the bike rolled over my hand, and into a shrub ...

dont do it.... not reccomended. theres plenty of lams 600's that will still be fun, and once your on your fulls you can derestrict them, add a pipe, some new filters and they will go kinda like stink, but not fantastic.

eg the Hyosung GT650RL... in lams form its a bit slow, but once your READY to ...

LOVE them... well.. i love them personally but i cant say exactly since ive never ridden one :P

sat on one, yes, and theyre comfy, apparently very economical, a tad underpowered but thats fine for a commuter / weekend fun toy.

the only thing i dislike is the engine, imagine the 250... but ...

yeah sounds good. ill keep my eyes out for UJM's from the 80's that suit cafe style.

and as for body work, it will have as little as possible and be almost ratty. flat black with some checker racing stripes and maybe a bit of airbrushing from a friend. thats it.
