personal update :)

Post by WRT_GPX »

ok, long time no post, and ive got terrible news!....

... im no longer a Kawasaki owner!

the little ninja died and was sold off for 300 dollars to the local guys at southwest motorcycle wreckers, whom while living at fallen_angels place weve bought many many bikes off...

which brings me to my newest bike which is almost road ready :D...

a classic sport tourer yamaha, XZ550 yamaha, rarer beacuse its actually runnig and has perfect fairings. nice near 70 horsepower v-twin, staintune pipes, shaft drive, sounds beautiful and looks .... like a retard, but its nice!

and for 900 dollars, with the new staintunes, i cant complain, plus its sellable for 4000 dollars with registration and a new lick of paint ^__^

but even though i have access to bikes here, im still sufferign from not having my own baby on the road :( !!!!!

pics soon of the fat bastard. were in the middle of semi-restoring it, just cleaning it up basically, new gloss black frame paint, new gloss aluminium engine and other area paint, going to respray the fairings in royal blue and possibly get some new pipes, im not a fan of the look of the staintunes. but they will suffice for the moment.

and i AM returning to the green machines for my next project, either another 250 ninja, or getting a bigger bike to get road legal and restored, so if anyone has any sporty kwakas for dirt cheap cause theyre busted as fuck, please tell me :) ... im considering a GPX750, but id prefer somthing newer and more capable like a 96 zx6r... yet funds dont permit that.

and no, when you see my bike, i am NOT streethawk :P

haha no shit... the rear tyre is only slightly thicker than the front tyre on my old 250 ninja...

but its ok, it apparently only gets headshake if you push it too much.

checkde it out, almost ready for rego and a putty cruise... matching engine and frame numbers, its number 629 :O.... whee... under the 1000's
