Re: 190 on ZX6R

I have a 190/50 on my 2003 ZX6R. That hasn't caused me any problems at all. I think the difference between the 190/50 & 190/55 equates to about 95mm difference in sidewall.

Re: Buell XB12r

I took one for a test ride a few years back, one of the Harley dealers down here had a come & test day so I was keen to give it a go.

As mentioned above, it does pulse a fair bit at idle, causing the indicators & mirrors to shake like mad :D also the cylinder head is right between your legs, so it ...

Re: Scared of Rain?

If you look closely at the pic, it's teaming down in bucket loads. I am with Gos, there has been a few times over the years where I have had to pull up. Not because I was getting wet though, because you couldn't see and that there were rivers of water flooding across the road making it near ...

Re: Good Kwaka service centre in Melbourne

How does your chain & rear sprocket look? Just bare in mind that this may need to change also, which I assume the cost would be in addition to that of the major service.

Re: Good Kwaka service centre in Melbourne

No worries at all.

If you do not have an owners manual for your ZX6R, you can download one here:

Re: Good Kwaka service centre in Melbourne

I went & had valve clearances & vacuum synchronisation done the other week at Evolution, Cost me about $200 for that, although the valve clearnaces were right & no shims had to be changed. I done the rest of the major service myself to save money. An apporximate price i got for the major service was ...

Re: P.I. Washed out..

I got back from Phillip Island yesterday. We rode up on Thursday, which worked out to be the best day to ride up.

Friday was by far the worst day that I have had down there. Spent close to 80% of the day in the expo tent! Certainly didn't help that FP1 was delayed. Watched the MotoGP FP1 at MG ...

Re: Rejuvenate faded plastic,anyone know?

I have used Bumper Care from Autoglym in the past on very badly faded plastic. I used to own a Peugeot 205 GTi & the plastic on the bumpers & wheel arches were pretty bad. This stuff used to do a top job & lasted for quite some time also.

Re: What's your bike??? (details and small pic )

Here is my ZX6R. I picked it up a few weeks ago now. I have to say, I absolutely love it. The only modifications to it are the Micron slip on muffler & foot pegs. I was thinking about getting a few things for it such as fender eliminator, crash knobs & possibly even integrated rear indicators ...
