I got back from Phillip Island yesterday. We rode up on Thursday, which worked out to be the best day to ride up.

Friday was by far the worst day that I have had down there. Spent close to 80% of the day in the expo tent! Certainly didn't help that FP1 was delayed. Watched the MotoGP FP1 at MG & almost froze to death. Saturday was an improvement & on Sunday ended up being sunburnt, well a mix of sun & wind burn.

Still beats being at work :D

I have been going to the GP at the island since 1998. The Friday of this year was the worst I've ever seen it. Still, the kids didn't complain, we had a great time and Sunday ended up being brilliant!!

The track was like a swamp all weekend. It was quite amusing that as of 5 p.m. Friday night, you couldn't buy a pair of gum boots on the Island!!!
