ZZR600 gear jump, please help

My '94 zzr600 have been acting strange lately. When I shift from 2nd to 3rd gear it jumps back to second or occassionaly to neutral. It is getting more and more fequent. I live in a small town with no access to specialist help. I have pulled the engine apart but can't see anything obviously wrong. Originally I assumed that the gear selector was worned out but it looks fine. However I have discovered bits of yet unidentified metal items in the drained oil. If anyone have ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Jozsef and welcome aboard. Did you check the gear dogs to see if they were rounded? Did you measure the selector forks to make sure they were within specifications? This link might be helpful too - http://www.ksrc-au.com/html/fixing_a_zx9r_gearbox.html

my gpz 750 does that when it needs a chain tension.
