Mario's making me up the fitting the same as his, so 1 will be a front stand.
Ooh sorry Dan still haven't got around to that

Jas yes thats ok For a front stand that picks the bike up from the bottom
of the forks I would think a fair bit more for the under bottom tripple clamp lifter

Hahahaha I just read it.

First off I have both a front and rear
Dan is right to make them nice you need a tube bender that uses a mandrel so the bends are nice and I dont have one.
I think and I need to check that those that already have a front stand that is adjustable only need to make different lifting ends to convert them to a front stand . So if you only lift one end at a time you can get away with it cheap.
And at the moment I'm full up guys I am just about to make an inclosed trailer for my girls mini bike with all the trimmings so my weekends etc are taken "read wife said make it to keep the kids out of the weather between races"

Mina do you have a rear stand at the moment ? If so bring it over and let me have a look at it and we'll go from there

mario,

i do have a rear stand but was told you shouldnt use a front stand without a rear stand. Is this true :?:

Dan did mention a pipe bender, but i'm not after a fancy looking stand, just something that will lift the front of the bike up and allow me to work on the forks or the front wheel if i need to.

We can make it square or with angles in it, that way we dont need a pipe bender.

i know your busy so it no hurry just when ever you get the time.

i will buy the material to build the prototype and if anybody is interested i'll post up some pics whenever its finished

You'll all be pleased to know that I picked them up for $110. Can't complain about that. :D
