I sat on one @ brighton kawasaki today. I really like the build and lightness.
I haven't ridden the 600 much and every time I ride it it feels like a bike which always want to go fast and can only really be enjoyed at 140+ kph
I am wondering if riding a slower bike - fast is more pleasurable than having to ride a 600 - slow. Too much trying for self control.
But will I regret it ?

Can't say I'd do it personally, I'd be more inclined to step off the sportsbike and onto something more comfortable and less eager like a mid sized naked?
But to each their own.
Take a test ride of the 300 down some familiar roads and see how it feels?

I loved riding my 250 for years in all sorts of conditions, everytime I get out on my ZX6 at the racetrack my immediate thought is "fuck riding this thing on the road!".
That being said I do like having the extra power of my Ninja 650 (compared to the 250) so you will feel a bit of a kick in the balls stepping down, it just depends how heavy handed you are on the right wrist..

I love my zx6 as a tracky! The roady was good. They like to rev and for the road was ok but much prefer my Gen 1 Zeddy for the easy torque and fun factor! For me I wouldnt go back to a 300 but a motard or something else fun would be my pick!
Been watching youtube videos... great bike it seems.
I guess the only way to tell is to ride one. There will be demo unit available next Thursday.
Will try to see how much I can get for my zx6r. Would be sad to let it go considering the history but I've outgrown the 'need for speed'
