glenn -

hmm.. me and a mate are keen on gettin one for our bikes - how is the overall quality of the radguard? and how is the fit of the guard to the radiator? is it secure enough that it wont rattle and eventually break off?

can ya let me know soonish.. as ive emailed the mob over in the UK about it..

if anybody else is interested, pm me, i could also enquire about a group discount...

Dave

It's a fairly basic piece of gear ie reasonably light mesh with some rubber coping around the outside. It flexes to the shape of the radiator so is pretty light. They tie on with lock wire which is pretty light gauge which I guess will eventually wear through although given that its tied on at four points you shouldn't lose the thing in one hit. The actual fit and sizing is spot on.

It certainly doesn't rattle or vibrate and I imagine will keep most rocks and bits of debris away from the radiator. How they compare to a Radguard I'm not sure but they are a shitload cheaper.

If you want to check mine out let me know and we can catch up somewhere. I'll probably be up the OPH at some point this weekend although I've got a bit on on Sunday so will probably be pretty early.

If you're corresponding with Mike mention KSRC as I posted him the link to check out this thread.

Cheers

glen,

i'd like to have a look at it before i go ahead with the purchase.. and i imagine my mate will be interested in having a look as well - not too sure whether he'd be available for a run up the OPH on sat around 2pm-ish as he might have something keepin him at home but i could meet you at road warriors if that suits?

Dave

I'm a bit screwed for riding time this weekend so my only opportunity is going to be stupidly early on Sunday. I usually hit the Cafe at about 7.00am on Sundays and then do a few laps for the next couple of hours. I can probably hang around at the Pie shop until about 9.00 or thereabouts.

Cheers
