I do some work on machines and electrical cabinets made in China. It's a growing trend where manufacturers can buy from china for a quarter of the price to have made in Australia. Then they spend another quarter of the cost paying australian contractors like me to bring it all up to standard and commission.
The metal, parts, and quality of workmanship on some things is TERRIBLE!! Metal so thin and weak you can stab a screwdriver THROUGH IT to contact live terminals.

Cable lugs that break off first time you touch them. A lot of the wiring is undersized, wrong colours and not flexible enough and has to changed out. Inferior copies of components badged with original markings, it's a minefield!
Anyways I digress.
