This is something you should never stop practicing, i practice every couple of days if not every time on the bike and other drills to keep the mind fresh and focused as to what to do incase hell is calling. Just cause you passed it in your test means shit if your not going to do on a regular basis.
Ninja 250r's have a basic brake system compared to bigger bikes there good but you notice the difference stepping off 1 to the other, this maybe what scot from mcas was comparing to, if your not satisfied with it take it Castle Hill Motorcycles or Bikebiz or Hills motorcycles, and get them to look over it, education first yes but if there is something wrong and yoú put it off its your life your playing with.
How many k's on your bike 72xxkm? if thats the case you must really be riding your brakes something shockingly, if the pads are right down. i changed my 250r @ 18000km, and my 600 has 14xxxkm on it
