I work with a bloke who rides a 96 zx7r and he's very particular about the weather, he's always checking the weather forecast for showers.
If it looks like its going to be a little bit overcast he pulls the pin and drives to work in a nice warm car with the heater on..???
I reckon he's a bit of a, I hate to say but a real SOFTCOCK..!!!
I just can't work out what the go is with blokes like this

I used to ride in all weathers back in the UK, snow included, and I actually enjoy riding in the rain on the track, but nowadays I avoid it.
For starters the cold plays havoc with my old injuries, so why have the pain when it's avoidable?
Secondly, other drivers are fuckwits, which is exacerbated in wet weather, add that to slippy road surfaces caused by oil and road markings etc, and I will happily drive the van instead.
And then there is all the extra cleaning and maintenance required, caused by the wet grime that coats the bike after a rain ride.
My bikes aren't my only mode of transport, I ride because I enjoy it, not to get from a to b, why ride if you don't enjoy it? Then again, maybe I'm a softcock
