Looking at it it seem's he locked the rear ....The pach on the tyre from where he hit the dirt dosn't move ...Was he trying to back it in and farked up????
Didn't see that bit ....Wonder why he went to the rear and not a fist full of front ?...I know it say's he panicked but if you panic do you stomp the rear???...Just curios half the time I forget I have a rear brake
i tend to stomp the rear brake in a panic situation. had one yesterday actually, i keep trying to retrain myself to just use the front but for some reason in a panic situation i seem to give it more rear than front. Never lock it up for as long as this rider did, its more of a short chirp and thats enough to prompt me to squeeze the front harder and loosen the back up a bit.
Funny because on the track i dont even use the rear, dont know why i cant transfer that across to the road.

Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.

Never ever touch the front hard in a corner!!!!!
It's ok ti brake into the corner, I wouldn't be grabbing handfuls mid corner while cranked over scraping pegs/knee.
The guy was going slow enough to
Take the corner anyway, he just didn't know it.
