Keep stumbling across MH drive videos, don't know if I should laugh at this sad attempt

Looks like a prime example of target fixation to me.

i tend to stomp the rear brake in a panic situation. had one yesterday actually, i keep trying to retrain myself to just use the front but for some reason in a panic situation i seem to give it more rear than front. Never lock it up for as long as this rider did, its more of a short chirp and thats enough to prompt me to squeeze the front harder and loosen the back up a bit.

Funny because on the track i dont even use the rear, dont know why i cant transfer that across to the road.

Rear brake is a good tool, don't be afraid to use it.

In the dirt disco the rear will be your biggest friend ;)

It's ok ti brake into the corner, I wouldn't be grabbing handfuls mid corner while cranked over scraping pegs/knee.
The guy was going slow enough to
Take the corner anyway, he just didn't know it.

Looks like he wasn't the first to hit that barrier in that spot
