The thing was I was only doing slow laps at the time... when the pace get's a bit higher, things might feel a little bit different again... ;)

Still this is my long term baby.. I am just going to have to learn how to work it and go fast...!

Well not always slow..!!!

But I was doing sub 2 minute laps on Monday and didn't even take the bike over 8 - 9k rpm...

So yes that was slow.. just wait till I can rev it out to 13.5k..

Then it will be more fun..

the initial fix just to wind the rebound all the way in to the stop and then wind it out 1 click.. leave it there...!!!

Brian's right. The factory boys set mine up this way for pure road use. I thought it was a bit hard initially although the 08 was set the same. Now I don't notice it but suspect I would want it even harder if I was on the track.

Re trusting the Ninja Gods, the Journos had the same issue when they were testing the first BMWs with traction/anti-skid. It's all a matter of getting used to it and you'll soon wonder how you ever coped without it.
