Try $549 or so I think Poss, that's what i'm paying for a bog standard chook chaser 650 and a mate with a Z1000 is paying exactly the same, not farking happy Jan!
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

NFI and clearly it doesn't, he is paying the same as me and as mentioned, I ride a bog standard LAMS approved even chook chaser, must be some discount for being stupid enough to ride in Ballarat :)

A bit of a stab in the dark but looking at Duane's sig reveals 2009 Z1000 - 'Gerri' so I reckon he has an 09 model. :)

Thats a bit harsh Mick.. I'd prefer to ride round Ballarat than drive FFS

Not so sure I agree with you in winter Poss, no argument on the other 3 seasons but Ballarat is seriousloy farkin cold in winter, Canberra like or worse even.

Incidentally mate's z1k is an 07 model, rego charge is the same, TAC component and subsequent GST on that is the difference.

Metro melb cops it more than rural, more risk, more roads hence more cost. Sucks and blows. Pretty sure anything over 600cc is roughly $549 py
