Post by Steve71 »

Finally got myself a road bike, i only just got it on the road yesterday afternoon. I'm going to ride it to and from work only on the good days of course, i think it should do me while on my learners.

good little learner bike the GPX and ZZR
you shouldnt let bad weather deter you from riding, best way to get confidence levels up and a good way to get to know your bike is probably to ride it in all sorts of weather and conditions.

Of course get comfortable with it first then venture into the streets on a rainy day, personaly i enjoy a good wet ride :kuda:

I don't mind it that much it's more about not having the riding gear for wet weather but yeah i would like to get out there and give it a go, for now i'm just going to get used to riding a road bike and get a feel for the bike.

I used to ride to work rain hail or shine, but that was when i was on my L's and P's.

Fast forward over a half decade and the novelty is a bit thin, so i don't bother with rain riding too often. But i still do it periodically anyway.
