Finally got myself a road bike, i only just got it on the road yesterday afternoon. I'm going to ride it to and from work only on the good days of course, i think it should do me while on my learners.
good little learner bike the GPX and ZZR
you shouldnt let bad weather deter you from riding, best way to get confidence levels up and a good way to get to know your bike is probably to ride it in all sorts of weather and conditions.
Of course get comfortable with it first then venture into the streets on a rainy day, personaly i enjoy a good wet ride
Mistakes:
Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.
I don't mind it that much it's more about not having the riding gear for wet weather but yeah i would like to get out there and give it a go, for now i'm just going to get used to riding a road bike and get a feel for the bike.
Congrat's ....If you ever want any practise riding in the wet let me know and I will get my bike out....Seem's to work lately ...I think I have ridden in the dry twice since getting it
Thanks Dave yeah you could say that lol.....all i have ever ridden is dirt bikes and i have always wanted to get out on the road......man i loved it. man the feeling you get going through the corners.........
Thanks Disco, you guys that are experienced it must be more of a buzz in the wet hey.
