

Strika the Hyosung, Suzuki and Kawasaki LAMS approved bikes are illegal to de-restrict, even after you have a full licence... Lot of money to spend on a throw-away bike that has less power-to-weight ratio than a cheap and nasty 250. and even if you could find someone to do it on the low-low, a new ECU to bring it up to non-LAMS factory spec costs 1500 quid plus manhours... There's also very few available for sale unless buying new, and a very restricted market to sell into when he gets his real bike licence.
