40:1 = 25ml per L, not 125ml (which is 8:1). Should you fill you tank with another 15L, assuming you mixed the 2L at 8:1 you're tank will still be 68:1 and will smoke, but otherwise be OKish (expect oiled plugs).
If it really is mixed at 40:1 and you add 15L then the mix will be 340:1 and I think you will not notice much difference.

Re: wrong fuel
Thanks for all the hypothetical replies guys.
Will probably end up filling it up with premium and going for a long ride, this way i can justify being out for a long time
New rubber on the back and near new on the front, clean and tight chain, now just need some rego

then give yourself an uppercut !!Gosling1 wrote:+1Tinman wrote:Being only 2 litres if you filled the tank up it shouldn't really matter it will blow a little smoke and you may oil up the plugs a little....
the ratio would probably end up around 1000 : 1
Fill the tank with normal fuel, then go on 1 good long ride, where you run the tank right to empty...... You may blow a tad of smoke while the tank is being emptied, but thats no big deal.
Then fill 'er up again.....and alls well.

Re: wrong fuel
it won't really do any harm at all! In fact my mate had an across which ran out of fuel in the middle of no where and he got his hands on some 2 stroke, bung her in and off we went, didn't blow any smoke, ran pretty average, but still ran alright.
Once we got to nearest servo, filled it up to the max and cleared out the fuel lines then it ran sweet again!
Dont worry about emptying it out, just fill it up with 4 stroke with as much as possible to dilute it!
Also, next time dont just grab "anything" off the shelf without being 100% sure you know what it is!
