SNOW!!

Post by NZthou »

Took my eldest girl for a few hours on the back the other day.

Lake Tekapo, Mount John Observatory...very scenic... 8)

Bloody snow on the ground!!!

Place will be crawling with skiers earlier than usual this year I reckon.

I worked in Fairlie for a while many years ago as well. Nice neck of the woods jl4049.

You'll know the ride over Mount Michael into Geraldine through Beautiful Valley then? A classic ride.

This is a road out of the back of Timaru, through the Pareora Gorge and into the back of Cave via the Taiko Bends....you'll know these curves I'm sure :D

Road trip this week from Christchurch over Arthurs Pass to Greymouth.

Great coastal road up the west side of the south island (shown).

Came back via the Lewis Pass and Hanmer Springs.

Great roads

Last West Coast trip I did we went over the Haast to the west coast, camped a couple of days at lake Paringa, up the coast, through the Buller, then north to Nelson. Brilliant trip.
