And the most important tip for getting the knee down?
Don't TRY to get your knee down.
Actually, I've just found one of my cd's which has some scans from some mags about getting your knee down, doing wheelies etc.
It's 9Mb all up, so if you're interested and your email account can handle it, PM me and I'll send it thru.

JEEEEEEZUS that ZX-12R looks like a Aprillia RS 50 under him!! that poor bike
itchy knees are best scratched on big roundabouts!

Firstly learn to do it at the track. The consequences of getting it wrong on the road are too serious - is it worth your life?
At the track, just concentrate on corner speed and the right line and getting comfortable with hanging off. You'll find it comes naturally. Better still, if you have a mate who is able to knee down on most corners, just follow him around. You'll be surprised how quickly it will happen.

I'm suprised he can reach the bars. You would think his "tank bag" would get in the way.BLOFLY 636 wrote:JEEEEEEZUS that ZX-12R looks like a Aprillia RS 50 under him!! that poor bike
Real bravery is being afraid but doing it anyway.
