There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

It is bloody quiet on Dangerous Dave's R1, My ZX9R, my BMWR1100RS, on Greg's ZRX1100 and on Dangerous Dave's WR450! It's just that it has a little tiny weeny BMW badge at the back.
OK mabey take out the CRAZY part of my quote
I have no idea about the Sport integeral but I have had 2 System Beemer helmets & they were totally overated & 1/2 the BMW touring club of NSW agreed at the time

DONT BUY A KBC VR2!! mine noisy as fark!! until i pause the Ipod.
my KBC is pretty good, (once you get a tinted visor you can see through)
but...... you get bugs, dirt, and wind in your eyes with the visor down.
they have tried to fix this by adding a little bit near your chin, but it dont work.
other than that i quite like it. its more ventilated than my AGV cheap shitter i had b4.

I can't comment on the System 2 as I have never worn one. However, the Sport Integral is the same as a Schuberth! In an 06/07 lid test O/S, both were rated up in the top three in terms of noise.
As for a naked bike, I recon your theory about fairings could be right, as the helmet is quieter on a naked than it is on a faired bike!! On a naked, this lid is eerily quiet!

You'd better start using ear plugs. If it's hurting that's definitely damaging your hearing, and quickly.Toby wrote:but it is that loud, it gives me an ear ache.

Also check that there are no vents blowing air straight into you ear, the temperature and pressure differences can give you a terrible ear acheToby wrote:I currently have an ARAI Nakano replica helmet, which cost the earth, is super lightweight, and breathes like no other, but it is that loud, it gives me an ear ache.

Err sorry...what was that?? I couldn't hear you...speak up a bit will you???
Yes..that's right, I rode for years without any ear protection. I now have industrial deafness. Ambient noise makes me lose any conversation.
