This'll go down well on here...

...even though I was starting to get over it at the time it was killed, I really miss my 2000-model R1 now, six years later. I'd have another carbed R1 in a second now... provided it was cheap enough.

The only other bike I've owned that i wish I still had would be the ex-Team Ansett Air Freight Suzuki 1999 GSX-R600 that I put back onto the road. It's the only bike I ever sold because I needed the money, and I've kicked myself ever since... the only GSX-R600 ever with fat midrange. I've seriously been putting out feelers for where it might've ended up to see if I could get it back...

missing a motor? fark that'd be half the reason to *buy* such a trackbike. shitload of effort to get a stockie singing that sweetly to replace the monster motor id imagine.

Unlikely, in that case. My thing was put back onto the road. Headlights, mirrors, indicators, and everyfink. I sold it to a bloke who took it to Sydney, than, as far as I know, he sold it to some bloke in Qld... meaning it was probably faxed under a stretch of armco and down a 50m cliff a couple of weekends later...

hmm, most of em... all for different reasons
96 zx7r, looked great went ok and was the first bike I really tinkered with and customised.
98 zx9r race bike, damn fast, handled great and would carve up later model "more sporty" bikes at the track. The best thing is no one expected it too... a fast no pressure bike... I learnt a lot on that thing..
The 10, great bike and nicely modded... bloody Wattie.!!!

cos the price was good, it had 2 sets of glass, all the shit u dont need taken off, and ohlins suspension...

what he paid for the whole thing, he coulda sold the front forks for at a pinch...

stick a low km newish motor in and it a cheap reliable race bike...

I regretted selling my 9 back in 05, it was a damn fine road bike and purty too 8) .

Just the right amount of grunt without the scary rep of the later stuff.

I'd buy another one but for the 06 ZX10R I NOW HAVE.... OOOOOH YEAH!!!!!

Hard choice my Z900 or my CB500 both were good honest bikes got abused heaps and still did the job, but nothing will replace the ZRX , except maybe a ZRX1400  :D :D :D  ;)
