definitely. You need to be in line 1/2 an hour before the shop opens............I'm not kidding. They only carry *limited* stock of most of this stuff, and they don't restock either - once its gone its gaaaawwwwwwnnnn.

only problem i have with the tankbag is my tank has a HUGE curve from the fillcap down to the sides (i.e. not flat at the top) and it distorts the magnetic base enough to make it a bastard to zip any of the bag attachments on.
My solution, put the tangbag on the shelf and use a ventura rack, been doing it since they came out last year, only used the tankbag, what, maybe twice.
I had someone pick me up a pair of boots and a tank bag. Pretty happy with both, except the boots are going to take a bit of wearing in to be as comfy as my Alpinestars.
Went 7 snatched acouple of the bike Chain/locks they're HUGE things must weigh 10kgs each.
We got a pair of tankbags last time they had them & J scored a jacket/boots/gloves. No complaints yetters.

did you get the black ones or the blue racerboy ones? i tried the blue racerboy ones with the toeslider on and the single zip. seemed *ok*, but to be honest the black ones (i have a pair already) looked a lot better.
Went via hurstville tonight on the way home from work to have a look. The wet weather suits are worth a lookin. I checked out (and got) a medium suit (size 42), it had enough room in it to be able to fit over an armoured jacket. Obviously i didnt try the pants on, but the same deal there, looked like it'd fit over some riding pants (i hope they are able to at least).
Got a kidney belt too.
btw anyone in hurstville are want them, theres HEAPS of wet weather kit, heaps of shoes, a few chains (looked alright, but ive already got one) that are about 1m long with some serious heavy guage links and lock. no bike covers, etc.
I got the black ones. I'm not a big fan of flashy gear.
After wearing them for a while, they're actually pretty good. If they're in the same condition as my Alpinestars after only 10000km then they've been good value. I suspect they'll last much longer than that.
On top of which, they're a better design than the (admittedly elderly) AStars with more adjustment and velcro that actually works!
I went down yesterday afternoon and got one of the covers, the only boots they had left were the US10.5 size and they were a bit big, I'll save my bickies and get some of those Setup boots, they look the goods.
You certainly have to be quick for the specials, a mate went down at 12.20 and there were no tank bags left.

I asked the mrs to pick me up the watherproof pants and at 9:30 there was only *one* left on my size . Glad I got it, it's excellent quality, comes with plethora of strapss too... but not a breathable-type. Noticeably warmer than my dririder.

Picked up a tankbag, seems to be the goods. No bloody idea how I'm going to attach the thing to my half-plastic tank, but the devil is always in the detail isn't it. Particularly wanted a pair of pants, but they were all out of 'fat bastard' sizes by the time I got there.
Dunno about the other stores, but it looked like at least half of the Ulysses Club was at the Canberra city store fighting over stuff!
When you have them by the balls, hearts and minds will follow...
yup got the tank bag, looks great , and so many things in one, a back pack, a bum bag....wonder how water proof it is though, but otherwise a great buy!!! Thanks for the heads up guys...
All that live die,
But not all that die have lived!
Jeff picked up a second pair of boots, in blue & black, with more armour but for the same price than the standard pair shown in the catalogue. Great for commuting with!
Cheers,
Anne
