perhaps with the new plugs available the others had to re-asses their pricing structure to make them more attractive - or dave got them off the back of the truck
Has anyone used iridium spark plugs
looks like thay have come down in price since i got my last set over 2 years ago then, cheapest anywhere was $10, most wanted $12+ for the CR9EK (thats what i used, not CR9E) back then.

I bought the cr9ek's from Mick at Castle hill motorcycles. I think the std price is about $8... my discounted "racers" price was about $7...

nah dude..the blade used iridiums..thats why i kno they ask like $26 a plug... every 24,000km... so an extra $100 a service ..give or take...Phil wrote:not quite champ, at least $10 for the plugs, your fairy blade may have used cheapo plugs but the 9's were cr9e, the r stands for resistor and that are a fair bit more.....so at $10 they work out cheaper......Neka79 wrote:umm if u check ur maths skills Phil.. the Iridiums cost $26 or so each..and normal were $5 last time i bought one (admittedly a while ago).... so its a touch OVER 4 times the price (more like 5 times)...
