If you can afford to SERVICE it, buy it!
Is the pants of the naked/ sports bikes!
Dude, most expensive service on my 06 RSV was $350 AND that included 2 new sprockets!
Service costs are NOTHING like the Ducs as the cams are chain driven not belt driven.
There are LOTS of power/bling mods for them.
Plus you get things like radial Brembos, braided lines, dry sump, rear wheel driven speedo (change sprockets without speedo going out) and a race map already built into the ecu.

only prob is Aprilia values just about halve when you roll it out of the showroom , they just suck in retaining value
find one used and you would do fairly well
And that's not true - guy over here sold his 06 and only lost $4k on the sale after 6 months. He was selling because he was building a new house.
They're an AWESOME bike and it'll sound even better with some Leo Vinces/Tigcrafts/Smaltmotos/Arrows/cored cans.
It's up to you, but I'm still loving my RSV. And if you get one, change the gearing -1/+2!
