What are the cheaper alternatives ? At the moment I just fitted the old pads which still have 1mm left on it.

Brake pads (front)
I just found out that my front brake pads only lasted 8k
... The 'Ferodo' brand would cost $110 for a pair. That's bit exxie for me atm.

$110 sounds about right.. i think.. maybe $110 for the 2 pairs..
I've run EBC a couple times, needed a set ASAP and could only get SBS's... I don't really like them to be honest.. EBC's were much better.

I used goldfren carbon ceramics on my last go and do recommend them they are lightyears ahead of the ferodo sintered ones i used last go.
They are silent and seem very gentle on the rotors and i can make the whole front tire squash flat into the bitumen should i have to stop in a hurry and the best part was 33 bucks a side.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Just shopping around ebay and found $55-ish including shipping from the US
...
In the old days I used to buy clutch pads and stick them to the brake pads. It works fine but not in the wets. Not sure I want to do it on a 600cc machine though (albeit keep thinking about it
