Must be an old post
since I would not buy an R1 unless it's the new 2007 model, which could be the best litre-bike ever (or not)

I usually wait for magazine test rides, ride it myself and even consider renting the bike for a weekend (if possible)

last time i was in nsw i swear i saw sum corners thru Nasho (in fact im positive they were corners, cos if they were straights i woulda been able to keep up with Phil)

then again..theres sum roads in SA where i cant keep up with Plas or Aardy too???

well, they are gone and now I wait till the R1 comes into the country before I make a decision...
