Ordered it through Whales Kawasaki. $240, tis the usual price I'm afraid, I haven't found cheaper (they get em from some joint in NSW).

As for my bike, god I wish she still looked like that!

It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

The best (and cheapest) thing I did was go one down on the front to a 15 tooth gear.

so anyway, i was wondering, what is the 1st performance upgrade you would do/did to your bike and why? I did the braided brake lines... and am waiting (STILL) on a racing can from "someone"..... still would like to do the usual:
K&N air filter, and then maybe a re-jet on a dyno if needed for the new "flow". I did the brake lines for more 'feel', and it really achieved that goal. A good upgrade for anyone thinking about it....
Trade up to a new 05' ZX636 130ps, braided lines, petal disks, slipper clutch, radial master cylinder, usd forks....so on. My mate from work traded his 2000 zx6 for an '04 ZX636 for 'only' $5000 change over.

Otherwise go for the braided lines and the suspension upgrade. My zx7r got racetech internals fr. and racetech shock and spring rear and it handles beautifully.

Yes yes, quite so. The knowledge of what I'll have her looking like at the end of all this is enough.
