speaking of "bike performance"......
speaking of "bike performance"......
this is cool... asking ppl with the same/similar bike to me what they have done, etc....
so anyway, i was wondering, what is the 1st performance upgrade you would do/did to your bike and why? I did the braided brake lines... and am waiting (STILL) on a racing can from "someone"..... still would like to do the usual:
K&N air filter, and then maybe a re-jet on a dyno if needed for the new "flow". I did the brake lines for more 'feel', and it really achieved that goal. A good upgrade for anyone thinking about it....

re: speaking of "bike performance"......
For me, it was a bolt on pipe. Is a bolt on pipe a "performance upgrade"??
Although, braided brake lines would be nice.

First upgrade? Rear tyre hugger!
Performance wise:
1) Blue Flame slip on pipe (in process of being shipped).
Then, K&N Filter
then, GCC ram air tubes
then, 46 tooth rear sprocket.
Ill get braided brake lines at some point too, I'd really like a set (cos i like being a bit hard on the brakes anyway). And I'll prob leave it at that.

where'd you get the hugger from kempy? i'd like one of those as well, but $200+ is all i can source, and i don't want one that bad. nice looking bike btw, looks eerily familiar!!

re: speaking of "bike performance"......
Hmm, all my upgrades aren't really performance cos I coudn't give a hoot about performance only how pretty my bike looks. First upgrade was a Sportech Chrome Blue V-Flow Screen. My next additive will either be a pipe or a steering damper. Then maybe a power commander and a K&N.

Hmm, the list of mods to my ZX6 includes:
Full titanium Akropovic race system. (headers to can)
Ported and Polished.
Cam dialled in.
Square cut gears.
Stock air filter. (Was tested on the dyno with several after market jobs, and all came up short in comparison to the stocky.)
I'm sure there's other stuff aswell, but the guy that did it won't tell me all his secrets.
